Football

Big Image

Pop Warner football has been around since the inception of the league in 1929 by founder Joseph J. Tomlin as a four-team conference in Northeast Philadelphia. Since then, participation has steadily increased to today's record numbers. Over 500,000 youths participated in Pop Warner-sanctioned football programs last year, and those numbers are continuing to grow.

Kids compete with kids of similar age and size. Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program (local, regional and national) that sets and enforces a strict AGE & WEIGHT MATRIX that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

Did you know that Pop Warner football is safer than soccer? Pop Warner football has 12% fewer injuries per capita among 5-15 year olds than organized soccer in the same age range! (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, NEISS)

Chicagoland Pop Warner Little Scholars Awards

In 2011 North Shore Titans were proud to have 13 of our players win the Pop Warner Little Scholars Awards. In 2011 these winners had to achieve at least a 3.7 GPA as well as have extra curricular activities worthy of the award. We are so proud to have so many players reach this high level of reward and achievement in 2011.

Danny, Zach, and Dylan,

Congratulations - Danny Elfman, Zach Pelts, and Dylan Cable. These Titans won 2009 Chicagoland Academic Achievement Awards. We are proud of your leadership and  football success but even more proud of academic success. As 8th graders we present the award certificate and scholarship of $1,200. 26 younger Trevian players were awarded. The 8th graders graduating from Jr. High are rewarded a greater prize in recognition of their academic accomplishments. We hope this helps along your way to adulthood and we look forward to watching you play football next year in High School.
